Students will receive an entry assignment covering identifying properties of exponents. Next, we will finish up Ch.6.1 Properties of Exponents. Today’s objective is for students to be able to apply the properties of exponents by solving & simplifying. Once finished, students will receive an online homework assignment covering Ch.6.1 that will be due Wednesday of this week.

Students will receive an entry assignment covering using properties of exponents to solve & simplify expressions. Next, we will begin Ch.6.2 Properties of Radicals. Today’s objective is for students to be able to understand how to use the properties of radicals to simplify. Students will receive an online homework assignment covering Ch.6.2 that will be due Thursday of this week.

This is a half day due to teacher inservice. Students will be required to work on Ch.6.1 HW Assignment if not already completed & Ch.6.2 HW Assignment that is due Thursday of this week.

Today’s objective is for students to be able to tell the difference between linear & exponential functions. Students will receive an exit ticket assessment covering identifying exponential functions that will be due at the end of the class period.
