Geometry Lesson Plan 02/13-02/17

Monday:

Students will receive an entry assignment covering solving equations & determining parallel & perpendicular lines. Once finished, we will go over each of the questions together. Next, we will begin Ch.7.1 Angles of Polygons. Today’s objective is for students to be able to find the interior & exterior degrees of polygons. Students will receive a HW Assignment that will be due Wednesday of this week.

Tuesday:

Students will receive an entry assignment covering finding the interior & exterior degree measures of a polygon. Once finished, we will go over each of the questions together as a class. Next, we will continue with Ch.7.1 Angles of Polygons. Today’s objective is for students to be able to solve for interior & exterior angles of polygons. Students will receive an online homework assignment that will be due Thursday of this week.

Wednesday:

Students will receive an entry assignment covering finding interior & exterior angles of polygons. Once finished we will go over each of the questions together as a class. Next, we will begin Ch.7.2 Properties of Parallelograms. Today’s objective if for students to be able to apply the parallelogram opposite sides & angles theorems. Students will receive a exit ticket assessment that will be due at the end of the class period.

Thursday:

Students will receive an entry assignment covering parallelogram opposite sides & angles theorems. Once finished, we will go over each of the questions together as a class. Next, we will continue with Ch.7.2 Properties of Parallelograms. Today’s objective is for students to be able to apply parallelogram consecutive angles & diagonals. Students will receive an online HW Assignment that will be due at the end of the class period.

Friday:

Students will receive an entry assignment covering using parallelogram consecutive angles & diagonals theorems. Once finished, we will go over each of the questions together as a class. Next, we will continue with Ch.7.3 Proving that a quadrilateral in a parallelogram. Today’s objective is for students to be write a proof using parallelogram theorems. Students will receive an online HW Assignment covering Ch.7.3 proving quadrilaterals are parallelograms that will be due Tuesday of next week.
