Geometry Lesson Plan 03/20-03/24

Monday:

Upon entering the classroom, students will receive an entry assignment covering Similar Polygons & Proving Triangle Similarity by AA. Once finished, we will go over each of the questions together as a class. Next, we will continue to review with Proving Triangle Similarity by SAS & SSS. Students will receive an exit ticket assessment that will be due at the end of the class period. Today’s objective is to review similar polygons & proving triangle similarity by AA, SSS, & SAS in preparation for a test on Wednesday.

Upon entering the classroom, students will receive an entry assignment covering Proving Triangle Similarity by SSS & SAS. Once finished, we will go over each of the questions together as a class. Next, we will continue to review with Proportionality Theorems. Students will receive an exit ticket assessment that will be due at the end of the class period. Today’s objective is to review Proportionality Theorems in Preparation for a test on Wednesday of this week.

Students will be taking Ch.8 Test today. Today’s objective is to assess the student’s knowledge of Similar Polygons, Proving Triangle Similarity by AA, SSS, SAS, & Proportionality Theorems.

Upon entering the classroom, students will receive an entry assignment covering simplifying expressions & solving proportions. Once finished, we will go over each of the questions together as a class. Next, we will begin Ch.9.1 The Pythagorean Theorem. Today’s objective is for students to be able to using the pythagorean theorem to solving sides of a triangle & identify pythagorean triples, as well as some of their multiples. Students will receive an exit ticket assessment that will be due at the end of the class period.

Upon entering the classroom, students will receive an entry assignment covering the pythagorean theorem in finding side lengths of a triangle & identifying pythagorean triples as well as their multiples. Once finished, we will go over each of the questions together as a class. Next, we will continue with Ch.9.1 The Pythagorean Theorem. Today’s objective is for students to be able to apply the pythagorean inequalities theorem. Students will receive an exit ticket assessment that will be due at the end of the class period, as well as an online HW Assignment that will be due Tuesday of next week.
