Students will receive an entry assignment upon enter the classroom covering graphing numbers on a number line & comparing real numbers in preparation for Ch.2.1 Writing & Graphing Inequalities. Once finished with the entry assignment, we will go over each of the questions together. Next, we will begin Ch.2.1 Writing & Graphing Inequalities; today students will only look at how to write inequalities. Today’s object is for students to be able to recognize an inequality on a number line & write an inequality based on that number line. Students will receive an exit ticket assessment covering writing inequalities.

Next, we will finish up Ch.2.1 Writing & Graphing Inequalities; students will learn to graph an inequality on a number line. Today’s objective is to reinforce writing inequalities & assess students knowledge to be able to graph inequalities. Students will receive a HW Assignment covering Ch.2.1 that will be due Friday of this week.

Upon entering the classroom, students will receive an entry assignment covering graphing inequalities on a number line. Once students have finished the entry assignment, we will go over each of the questions together in class. Next, we will begin Ch.2.2 Solving Inequalities Using Addition or Subtraction; students will only be looking how to solve inequalities using addition today. Today’s objective is for students to be able to solve inequalities using graphing & be able to graph those same inequalities once solved. Students will receive an exit ticket assessment covering solving inequalities using addition.

Before class begins, students will hand in Ch.2.1 HW Assignment covering Writing & Graphing Inequalities. Once the Ch.2.1 HW Assignment has been handed in, students will begin their entry assignment covering solving inequalities using addition. When finished, we will go over each of the questions together. Next, we will finish up Ch.2.2 by learning how to solving inequalities using subtraction. Today’s objective is to reinforce students knowledge on how to solve inequalities using addition & understand how to solve inequalities using subtraction. Students will be given Ch.2.2 HW Assignment that will be due Tuesday of next week.
