Monday:

Students will receive an entry assignment covering solving multi-step equations & compound equations. Once finished, we will go over each of the questions together as a class. Next, we will work examples together of solving equations with variables on both sides as well as rewriting equations & formulas. Students will receive a HW Assignment covering solving equations that will be due Friday of this week. Today’s objective is to review Ch.1 Solving Linear Equations.

Students will receive a test review assignment covering properties of exponents, radicals & rational exponents, & exponential growth & decay. Once finished, we will go over each of the questions together as a class. Students will be given the class period to work through the Ch.6 test review. Today’s objective is to review Ch.6 in preparation for a test.

Students will take out Ch.6 test review from Tuesday. We will over each of the questions from the test together as a class in preparation for a test. Today’s objective is to review Ch.6 in preparation for a test.

Students will take Ch.6 test. Today’s objective is to assess the knowledge of Ch.6 exponents, exponential functions, exponential growth & decay.

Friday:

Students will receive an entry assignment that will covering simplifying algebraic expressions. Once finished, we will go over each of the questions together as a class. Next, we will begin Ch.7.1 Adding & Subtracting Polynomials. Today’s objective is for students to be able to identify degrees in a monomial & polynomial. Students will receive an exit ticket assessment covering Ch.7.1 that will be due at the end of the class period.
