Tuesday:

To begin class, students will receive an entry assignment covering finding perimeter & area in the coordinate plane. Once finished, we will go over each of the questions together in class. Next, we will begin Ch.1.5 Measuring Constructing Angles; students will receive a foldable for their interactive student notebook that will cover classifying angles & their characteristics. After we have completely filled out the classifying angles foldable, students will receive an exit ticket assessment based on classifying angles & their characteristics. Today’s objective is to reinforce finding perimeter & area in the coordinate plane & for students to understand the different classifications of angles & their characteristics.

Upon entering the classroom, students will receive an entry assignment covering classifying angles & identifying their characteristics. Once finished, we will go over each of the problems together. Next, we will finish up Ch.1.5 Measuring Constructing Angles; students will receive a foldable for their interactive student notebook that will cover the angle addition postulate & angle bisectors; we will go over & fill out the foldable together. Students will will receive a HW assessment covering Ch.1.5 that will be due Friday of this week. Today’s objective is to reinforce classifying angles & identifying their characteristics, as well as learning the angle addition postulate & angle bisectors.

To begin class, students will receive an entry assignment covering the angle addition postulate & angle bisectors. Once finished, we will go over each of the questions together in class. Next, we will begin Ch.1.6 Describing Pairs of Angles. Students will receive a foldable covering linear pairs, supplementary, complimentary, vertical & adjacent angles; we will go over & fill out the foldable together. Students will receive an exit ticket assessment covering classifying & describing pairs of angles. Today’s objective is for students to understand the different pairs of angles & their characteristics.

*HW Assignment DUE: Ch.1.5 Pg.43-45 #9-12, 26, 28, 30, 33, 35, 37-39

Before class begins, students will turn in their Ch.1.5 HW Assignment. Once the HW Assignment has been turned in, students will then begin working on the entry assignments covering identifying pairs of angles. Once finished, we will go over each of the questions together in class. Next, we will finish Ch.1.6 Describing Pairs of Angles; students will apply the characteristics of angle pairs learned from Thursday to finding angle measures of angle pairs. Today’s objective is to reinforce classifying angle pairs based on their characteristics & use that knowledge to finding angle measures of angle pairs. Students will receive a HW Assignment cover Ch.1.6 Describing Pairs of Angles that will be due Tuesday of next week.
