Algebra I Lesson Plan 11/14-11/18

Monday:

Students will receive an entry assignment covering plotting points on a graph & evaluating the information on the graph. Once students have completed the entry assignment, we will go over each of the questions together as a class. Next, we will begin Ch.4.5 Scatter Plots & Lines of Fit. Today’s objective is for students to be able to determine correlations of a scatter plot & identify a good line of fit. Students will receive a HW Assignment covering scatter plots & lines of fit that will be due Tuesday of next week.

Tuesday:

Students will receive an entry assignment covering using a scatter plot & identifying a good line of fit. Once students have finished the entry assignment, we will go over each of the questions together in class. Next, we will begin Ch.4.6 Analyzing Lines of Fit. Today’s objective is for students to understand how to use residuals to determine a good line of fit. Students will receive a HW Assignment covering Ch.4.6 that will be due Thursday of this week.

Students will receive an entry assignment covering using residuals to determine a good line of fit. Once students have completed the entry assignment, we will go over each of the questions together as a class. Next, we will begin Ch.4.7 Arithmetic Sequence. Today’s objective is for students to be able to find a common difference, graph an arithmetic sequence & write an equation for an arithmetic sequence. Students will receive a HW Assignment covering arithmetic sequence that will be due Friday of this week.

Students will receive Ch.4.4-4.7 test review. Students will be given the class period to work on the test review in preparation for Ch.4.4-4.7 test on Monday.
