Algebra I Lesson Plan 03/10-03/14

Monday:

I will be out today due to attending workshop training. Students will receive a review assignment that will cover properties of exponents, radicals & rational exponents. Students will be expected to work on the assignment the entire class period. The assignment will be due Wednesday of this week.

TEKS:

Tuesday:

Upon entering the classroom, students will receive an entry assignment covering Factoring/Solving Polynomial Equations. Once finished, we will go over each of the equations together as a class. Next, we will begin Ch.7.6 Factoring x2+bx+c. Today’s objective is for students to be able to factor equations in the form x2+bx+c. Students will receive a HW Assignment covering Factoring x2+bx+c that will be due tomorrow at the begin of class.

Wednesday:

Upon entering the classroom, students will receive an entry assignment covering Factoring x2+bx+c. Once finished, we will go over each of the questions together as a class. Next, we will continue with Ch.7.6 Factoring x2+bx+c. Today’s objective is for students to be able to factor equations in the form x2+bx-c. Students will receive a HW Assignment covering factoring x2+bx-c that will be due Monday of next week.

Upon entering the classroom, students will receive an entry assignment covering factoring x2+bx+c & x2+bx-c. Once finished, we will go over each of the questions together as a class. Next, we will take a kahoot quiz covering factoring x2+bx+c & x2+bx-c. Today’s objective is to assess student’s knowledge of factoring. Once students have completed the kahoot quiz, students will submit their work page to me for a grade.
